PORTFOLIO

After college, I scoured San Diego for a front desk or shop help position at about 30 shops that I handpicked from my own research. After a few weeks of walking into different tattoo shops and dropping my resume/portfolio off, I landed a front desk position at one of my top 5 shops, Chapter One Tattoo. After about 3 months of working front desk, I asked the owner and my now-mentor, Cash Scott, if he would accept me as an apprentice, and to my luck, he did.

Below highlights my journey from my first few sketches, to my current state in the apprenticeship.
