FINE ART

During my college journey at San Diego State University, I explored about five different majors before I finally decided to settle on a bachelor's degree in studio arts. I took a gap year halfway through, got my first two tattoos, and realized that I had just paid an artist to do something that I very well could learn how to do. Not to mention, drawing was something I had loved since childhood. Yet before I ever thought about presenting myself to tattoo studios in the hopes of gaining a tattoo apprenticeship, I needed to polish my skills. What better way to hit two birds with one stone than by returning to college to finish my degree, and getting professional mentorship at the same time.

These are a few of my ventures during my time as an art student, as well as some of the works that were in the original portfolio that eventually led me to my tattoo apprenticeship.
